Tim is a serial builder with a proven track record of turning frontier resource opportunities into publicly traded enterprises.

Tim has helped build three successful E&P companies from the ground up, most recently as Founder and former CEO of Talos Energy (NYSE: TALO), which he scaled from five employees to a public company with more than 800 staff and one of the largest independents in the history of the US Gulf. He led the Zama discovery in offshore Mexico, the first exploration well drilled by the private sector in the country's offshore waters and one of the largest oil finds in Mexico’s history. Talos’s Low Carbon Solutions subsidiary was a first mover in geological carbon storage in the US, ultimately selling the portfolio to TotalEnergies. Tim is also on the Board of Expand Energy (NASDAQ : EXE), the second biggest natural gas producer in the US.

Tim holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State and an MBA from the University of Houston.
